The 's' in sedeq is actually pronounced 'ts' or 'tz'.<br><br>This reading in Jeremiah is one of my favorites. It is very prophetic and hopeful.<br><br>And the reading from Matthew regarding Jesus laying down his life is something that I think of every time that I see a World War II documentary or some other war movie where people are basically risking their lives and laying them down for others.
