In a similar (if a bit warped) way, when people get to know me and think that I have a different sense of humor and can be very outgoing, I tell them that if they knew my father they would understand me better. And if they had know his mother they would understand him better.<br>In the same way (or backwards way) we know about Mary and we determine what her parents would have been like. Of course, my parents are very different, so maybe Mary took after Joachim or maybe she took after Anne.
